► My father has got the land from his paternal uncle as a gift to get a government job in the year 1998, the RTC and mutations are all in the name of my father legally.
I am now claiming a job under land loser quota as the land gifted to my dad was legally acquired by KIADB which later was moved to KPCL for power plant.
Now all the documents are scrutinized and i was about to get my joining letter the relatives that is my dads uncle's daughters have objected stating that its their land and the government shouldnt provide the job to me in the end moment.
They even tried to extort money by blackmailing on the last day of objection, when i didnt agree for that they have formally submitted the letter to the power plant.
My question is , do they have a legal obligation to snatch away my job or have any legal right to claim it back a their?
Note-
Acquisition happened in 2003 through Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board
Land transferred to Karnataka Power Corporation Limited
MY father’s name was in notification + award
Compensation recognized in his name
MY father is now deceased
I have received a job order (under land-loser quota)
Now my father’s cousins suddenly object claiming it was theirs before 1998.
Kindly help on this.
