► Please find the details below: A PF Member ID (MID) was created under my UAN for HCL Technologies without my actually joining the organization. I did not participate in or complete the virtual onboarding process, nor did I commence employment with the company at any time. However, the PF records reflect a Date of Joining as 04 February 2022, which is incorrect. I have official email confirmation from the HR team stating that I did not join the organization. There are also email communications confirming that I was marked absent on the intended date of joining. Despite non-joining, a PF contribution was deposited under my UAN, creating an incorrect service history record. This erroneous entry is now causing Background Verification (BGV) discrepancies and negatively impacting my career prospects

Dear client,

The issue you have with your EPF, in relation to the PF number allocated to your UAN for your employment with HCL Technologies, stems from the fact that the onboarding process was not fully adhered to, and this caused the date of your joining reflected in the EPF system to not reflect accurately, which in this case was the 4th of February 2022.

To support your case, you will have to provide all the necessary documents to support your case. This includes correspondence with HR stating that you never joined the company. Other documents may include evidence of your absence at the organization or anything else that may support your case and prove to the relevant authorities that you never worked with the company. Once you have this evidence, it is recommended that you put an online grievance against the EPFO organization through their website, EPFOrganisation.com (EPFiGMS), stating your case and stating that there was an issue with your entry into the system with regards to your member number and that this should be changed/remove with the documents you have.

Dear Client, As per your query,
HCL Technologies created a PF member ID and deposited contributions under your UAN even though you never joined the organization; it amounts to administrative negligence or incorrect reporting to EPFO. For such reasons, you are facing difficulties with background verification discrepancies, affecting your career opportunities. In such a case, you can first file an official grievance through the EPFiGMS portal, attaching all the mail and supporting documents. Secondly, you can send a Legal Notice through an Advocate formally demanding the HCL employer to correct the PF entry and accordingly notify EPFO that you were a non-joining candidate.
