Against service provider for compensation
1 Answer
Dear Client,
In the event that the transportation company has not been able to deliver your vehicle at the stipulated time, held onto it for an unjustified period, delivered it without delivering the service agreed upon, and charged your advance without reason, you may send a legal notice demanding your money back and compensation subject to the terms and conditions of your transport agreement, sometimes there are hidden terms and conditions which people generally ignore but it may have a clause of a ‘fixed costs’ which is payable upon the signing of the agreement even in the event of non-performance of the contract, First advise will be to go through your agreement in detail or contact an advocate who can simplify those terms for you and if there is no such clause then you may proceed with further steps such as a legal notice to take action against non performance of the contract on his part. In case the matter is not sorted out, then you can lodge a complaint with the relevant Consumer Commission for deficiency in service and unfair business practice. Make sure to keep all necessary documentation in this regard.
I hope this helps and if you have any further issues do not hesitate to contact us.
