► Hello, once the court sends the summons for trial and trial is started, can we file for quashing leaving the trial midway.

You can file a quashing petition in the High Court according to Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) at any point, even after the issuance of a summons and commencement of the trial. Generally, the High Courts are hesitant to stop the ongoing trial unless there is serious misuse of the process of law or there is no prima facie case.
