Family Law
► Just after my marriage, husband and in laws continuously forced me to give all my salary to them and he will give me day to day expenses. I denied. They mentally tortured me regularly for anything I did. They would control everything I do, eat, decide…everything. Husband whose salary is three times mine, said If i contributed Equally for all expenses then only he will stay with me. I tried to save the marriage after all this bullshit. After i got pregnant, he would threaten me every now and then for divorce. His family would also threaten me to go to my parents home and leave from there for no reason. Just they would create issue with random things. On delivery date also, my husband fought with me and called his father mother from apartment garden to fight with me and mentally tortured me. When girl was born and nurse came with baby to inform, my husband asked nurse to open diaper to show if it’s a girl or boy. In hospital also he fought with doctors to not give me blood even when i had 7 haemoglobin and asked for discharge. At home, he would wake the baby or not let me feed her to take her for video call as his father asked him to do so. My husband has major anger issues. One day baby peed in bed and he angrily started pulling bed sheet and everything around the bed sheet would fall on baby if I wasn’t there. I asked for hearing test for baby and he said that even if baby was deaf, there is no cure so no need to do any tests. After I came to my fathers home, the next day he made issue over something and told he would divorce. He never asked me about how baby is or how I am. No care. But he asked me shamelessly to transfer monthly amount. He did not care about baby’s vaccination or baby’medicines…nothing. In fifteen days, he video calls for formality, sees the daughter, ask her questions and answers himself and keeps the phone in 3-4 mins. This has continued for five months. Can I file for abandonment of girl child case and domestic violence against him?
