► Cyber Fraud Complaint – Unauthorized UPI Transactions My name is Chaitra. On 21st June 2025, I received a message on my WhatsApp from an unknown number regarding “Work From Home.” The message also contained a suspicious link. When I clicked on that link, an application called PicsArt was downloaded onto my phone. After this incident, my phone was hacked. Without my knowledge, messages were also sent from my WhatsApp account to other people, asking them to “invest and earn returns.” At the same time, money was debited from my bank account without my consent. All the transactions were carried out through UPI, not in one single transfer but in multiple stages, under the appearance of “investment.” All Amount is lien how can i refund But bank manager told I transaction that money enter the password without password how to unknown people get your pin But clearly I am not transfer the money anyone

Lock Your UPI / Bank Accounts

Immediately deactivate UPI apps linked to your number.

Change all bank passwords, MPINs, and OTP settings.

Block your SIM temporarily if your phone is compromised.

If possible, reset phone to factory settings to remove malware.

You should immediately visit the bank branch and submit a written representation to them detailing in detail that you did not provide any OTP, etc. File a cybercrime complaint and keep bank statement of unauthorised transactions screenshot, screenshots of the suspicious app download. You can file a case in court and obtain a No Objection Certificate from the bank to remove any lien in your account.
