► URGENT LEGAL CONSULTATION: Contract Breach, Fraud, and Hostage Source Code by Code Brew Labs (Chandigarh) I'm Damian Hurtado from Miami, Florida seeking immediate legal representation regarding a severe dispute with Code Brew Labs in Chandigarh, India. Our contract was signed on October 31st, 2023, with a promised completion timeline of 14 to 15 weeks. The company has since committed an egregious contract violation and engaged in acts of fraud, professional bullying, and intimidation. The situation is critical: the company is holding my source code hostage, an asset contractually owed upon my full payment. To escape liability for extensive delays and missing features, they are coercively demanding I sign a non contractual Full and Final Settlement (F&F) agreement to release the code. I refuse this demand because they want me to lie in this agreement by saying that they did everything correctly making it look as if they did nothing wrong and forcing me to say that they completed the app when that its dishonest. My contract said nothing about an F&F. They're holding my source code hostage. Theft. I am prepared to file a vigorous lawsuit against Code Brew Labs. I also seek to sue the CEO, Aseem Ghavri, and the CTO, PargatDhillon, individually, to hold them personally liable for this ruining my life.

Generally it takes tentatively 3 years in ideal condition in getting case adjudicated at trial court but exact time period. On examination of agreement and other facts of the case other possible remedies too can be explored. It there is breach and violation on part of erring party then through advocate you can get issued legal notice claiming termination, damages etc subject to terms of contract. Criminal recourse can also be explored but that should be first step. If required you may consult with details.

Dear Sir, as per your query,

Firstly, check the ‘Jurisdiction’ mentioned in the Agreement.

You should first send a Legal Notice to Code Brew Labs and its Directors demanding:

1. Immediate release of the source code.

2. Rejection of the false F&F Agreement.

3. Warning of criminal & civil action for breach of trust, extortion and fraud.

4. Immediate compensation for harassment, breach of contract.

If the company does not respond to the legal notice, a police complaint needs to be filed for cheating, fraud & criminal breach. Simultaneously, a lawsuit needs to be filed for breach of contract and damages in a Civil Court.
