Hi,

As per your query,

You definitely do not require a Clinical License as because you are not suggesting or selling supplements, medicines or any other product relatively even close to that.

You require a Trade License only if you intend to make this a business proposition

In the alternative, there are plenty of Social Media Influencers who use the Digital Platform such as Youtube, Vlogs, Instagram as mediums, to do exactly what you want to do and earn out of the views.

You need to decide what mode you want to proceed. In case you wish to open up an office and do this work under some trade name or something, in that case I would suggest you do take a trade license and GSTIN registration and also get yourself registered under the MSME as it gives you various entrepreneurship advantages.

Feel free to connect with me for more details on this topic through OLQ.

Dear Madam,

License Requirements (for Bangalore, Karnataka — and most Indian cities)

(A) Trade License / Shop & Establishment Registration

This is mandatory for any commercial office or consultancy.

Issued by your local Municipal Corporation (BBMP).

Purpose: to register your office as a legitimate business location.

You can apply under “Health / Wellness Consultancy” or “Nutrition Consulting”.

Documents Required:

PAN + Aadhaar

Address proof (rental agreement / ownership docs)

NOC from building owner (if rented)

Qualification certificate (M.Sc. in Nutrition)

Business registration (if applicable)
