how to file divorce

There are two ways to file a Divorce 

– Mutual Divorce - Both parties consent to divorce and form a memorandum of understanding which is submitted in a court and a decree for divorce is awarded on mutual consent. 

– Contested Divorce - Where either party is not willing, the party intending to take divorce files divorce on various grounds and the other party contests it. 

Process to file 

– Engage an Advocate 

– Tell him or her the entire narrative 

– Get your divorce Petition drafted, signed and notarised 

– Get your divorce Petition filed
