Dear Sir,

         No, an SC/ST Act private complaint cannot simply be withdrawn on compromise because offences under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act are non-compoundable, and withdrawal is not permissible in the usual way.
But yes, there are lawful ways to close or quash the case depending on the stage and facts
